A clear path from first conversation to robots at work

Six stages, from first conversation to ongoing support. Nothing is ordered until the scope is agreed in writing.

The six stages of an engagement

The same path for one restaurant floor or a national program.

  1. 01

    Consultation

The task, the site, the hours and what success looks like.

  2. 02

    Site assessment

Floors, lifts, doors, Wi-Fi and safety. Where robots will and won’t work.

  3. 03

    Recommendation & proposal

Platform, deployment plan, integration, training, service and price, in writing.

  4. 04

    Deployment

Mapping, configuration, lift and door integration, commissioning and handover.

  5. 05

    Training & adoption

Operator and supervisor training, plus help explaining the change to staff.

  6. 06

    Support & lifecycle

Support, servicing, parts and warranty across Australia and New Zealand.

More detailWhat we need from you, and what stays with youYour side of a deployment, responsibilities and the engagement at a glance

What we need from you

A deployment needs input from your side. During scoping we’ll ask for a nominated site contact, floor plans where available, access for a site assessment, and early involvement from anyone who controls a dependency, typically your facilities or building manager, lift maintenance contractor, IT or network team, and WHS representative.

We’ll also ask how you plan to explain the change to staff. Robots work best when the people around them know what the equipment does and doesn’t do, and who to call when something needs attention.

What stays with your organisation

Robotx supplies, deploys and supports equipment. Day-to-day operation of the robots, site safety management, permits and any clinical, care or security decisions remain with your organisation. We supply non-weaponised commercial platforms only, and we will tell you if a task isn’t a good fit for current robotics.

Engagement questions

Have a question about your site? Talk to a specialist.

How long does a robotics deployment take?

Timeframes depend on equipment availability, freight, site readiness and integration scope. A single-site deployment with no building integration is considerably quicker than a multi-site rollout involving lifts or business systems. Your proposal sets out a timeline for each stage so you can plan rosters, communications and training around it.

Do you install and train, or just supply equipment?

Every Robotx supply includes deployment and training. We map the site, configure routes, zones and schedules, commission the equipment and train your operators and supervisors at handover. We do not sell robots without an agreed deployment and support arrangement.

Can robots integrate with our lifts, doors or systems?

Often, yes. Many commercial platforms can call and ride lifts, pass through automatic doors and connect to call buttons or business systems through supported interfaces. What is possible depends on the platform and your building, so we confirm integration scope in writing after the site assessment and involve your building manager, lift contractor or IT team as needed.

What happens if a robot needs repair?

Contact Robotx. We provide technical support for the equipment we supply, carry out diagnostics, arrange service and supply replacement parts. Warranty claims are administered through Robotx. Support arrangements are discussed with you during scoping.

Can we start with one site and expand later?

Yes, and we usually recommend it. Starting small gives your team time to get used to the equipment, lets us refine the configuration under real conditions and gives you data for the case to expand. Each later site is then planned around what the first one taught us.

Tell us where your operation loses time.

A Robotx consultation starts with your sites, tasks and constraints. We’ll tell you where robotics fits and where it doesn’t, and what a sensible first deployment would look like.
